( S Series )
Service Tech's S series vessels are cylindrical with flanged and dished top head and flat bottom head.
S series vessels are constructed using 3/16" thick, ASTM A36 carbon steel Epoxy phenolic coatings are applied to interior and exterior surfaces. Exterior is finished with a gray enamel coating.
S Series vessels are rated for 12 PSI operation. Maximum flow rates are based on recommended 60 fpm superficial velocities.
S Series vessels are constructed with a 24" diameter manway for ease of media replacement. Manways are bolt down type with 3/16" carbon steel bolt down covers equipped with neoprene gaskets.
Media support for S Series vessels is constructed using 3/4" thick carbon steel rod in a "spider web" design upon which perforated stainless steel sheeting is welded. Stainless steel is of type ASTM A312. Vertical 3/4" carbon steel rods are welded to the spider web and the bottom of the vessel for additional support.
Vapor inlet/outlet consist of flanged fittings of specified diameter. The vapor inlet allows vapors to enter the lower plenum prior to filtration through the media bed and exit through the vapor outlet at the top head of the vessel.
In addition to standard features and connections, Service Tech will add and/or delete items as necessary including:
-side fittings/manways
-pressure gauge fitting - FNPT/Flanged
-connections for additional vapor inlet/outlet
-connections for sampling/monitoring/saturation indicators
S Series vessels are constructed on 3" x 8" fork channels of 3/16" carbon steel construction. For channels rest on steel blocks for ease of maneuverability.
