Air Purification
Service Tech, Inc. distributes a wide variety of powder, granular and pelletized activated carbons made of wood, coal, coconut, peat and lignite from domestic and foreign sources - many of which are designed to meet specific air purification objectives. Typical applications include indoor air quality, chemical contaminates from industrial air emissions and gas process streams. If you don't see a stocked unit that handles your adsorption requirements, a Service Tech support representative can design, propose and manufacture an  adsorber to meet your specifications.

Airclean S1, S2 & S3
The S-series air purification adsorbers are prefabricated polyethylene or steel canisters with an epoxy phenolic interior lining (for steel canisters only). These unit contain between 150 (S3) to 200 (S1) pounds of high activity virgin carbon. The following flow rates apply to each model:

S1: up to 100 CFMS2: up to 300 CFMS3: up to 500 CFM

Most S-series units can be returned to STI after use for reactivation. Return of spent airclean adsorbers is subject to Service Tech's acceptance criteria.

Airclean S1000 and S2000
Units are of carbon steel construction with an epoxy phenolic interior lining and epoxy phenolic exterior coating with an enamel finish. The adsorber is filled with 1000 (S1000) or 2000 (S2000) pounds of high-activity carbon and can handle flows of up to 500 CFM. When the carbon in these units becomes exhausted, it can easily be replaced on-site by STI service personnel.

Airclean Vapor 375, 400 and 450
Containers are constructed of 16 guage steel with epoxy phenolic interior lining and industrial enamel exterior coating. Stainless steel preforated screen false bottom eliminates channeling. On-site changeout service is available on the airclean vapor units.

Airclean Steam Regenerable Adsorber SR Series
STI manufactures a new line of air purification adsorbers constructed of 3/16" carbon steel with a dome top and bottom, skid mounted. These units can withstand pressure to 100 PSI and vacuum to 20 inches of  mercury. The vessels are lined with a high temperature lining internally and externally to 450 degress F. These adsorbers are used at locations where on-site steam regeneration is required. When the carbon in the SR units becomes exhausted, STI can regenerate the carbon on site and recover whatever product the carbon adsorbed.
